Job description

FUNCTIONS

Leadership: Lead and professionally develop the Parts Coordinator team in all locations – Lead by example, always conducting oneself in a professional manner and with exemplary respect, humility, empathy, integrity, and positivity.

Data Management: Audits system data and associated processes to ensure data validity for accurate reporting and analysis of various equipment related costs. This will include partnering with other departments as needed.

Inventories: Monitor purchase requisitions and turnover rates on parts inventory to ensure proper inventory management for efficiency and cost savings. Assist with physical inventories of fleet equipment as requested. Ensure all parts and vehicle warranties are being tracked to create further savings opportunities.

Reporting & Analysis: Is responsible for assisting with the financial reporting of fuel and parts inventory valuations, repair & maintenance spend, fuel usage, equipment utilization, parts and equipment performance, etc.

Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the parts and shop teams in all locations to establish processes that will help both teams create efficiencies which will contribute to the overall success of the business.

Projects: Assist with and play a role in various departmental initiatives including but not limited to further RTA development, further asset tech integration, future equipment hardware systems administration, etc.

Other: May be responsible for other duties as assigned, including but not limited to providing supportive assistance to other areas of the supply chain department, finance team, shop teams, or other DFF personnel as needed.

Problem Solving – Able to resolve conflicts and workday issues with little to no supervision. Uses judgement and logical reasoning to ensure issues are escalated to the supervisor as needed but are handled independently when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree and 3+ years of experience, or any comparable combination of education and experience is preferred.

Strong knowledge and practical experience with inventory management concepts and related computer systems.

Prefer agricultural, parts, inventory and/or other related experience. Experience with parts and/or related equipmentis strongly preferred.

Must have a very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Outlook and PowerPoint. Would expect this individual to be an expert in Excel.

Familiarity with the following Excel functionalities are strongly preferred: Data import via txt/csv, basic table creation and filtering including pivot tables, the ability to create, use, edit, audit and analyze worksheet data using various formula functions, as well as familiarity with using basic functions to graphically represent spreadsheet data.

Professional verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to maintain a supportive working relationship with all team members and outside vendors.

Ability to present information clearly and confidently in a group setting and facilitate productive team meetings.

Must be willing to travel as needed between our operations in multiple states (10%+/- travel).


WORKING CONDITIONS

Standing/ Walking: Periodically throughout the workday on hard floor surface.
Sitting: Frequently in the office and during breaks and lunchtime.
Hands/Arms: Constantly in use throughout the workday. Frequent use of computer and other office equipment.
Lifting: Occasionally lifting to 50 lbs.
Carrying: Occasionally carrying items for up to 50’.
Bending/Twisting: Occasionally at the hips and knees to lift miscellaneous items, however squatting is recommended.
Kneeling/Crawling: Kneeling can be performed occasionally to lift miscellaneous items, however squatting recommended.
Reaching: Occasionally reaching is performed to reach overhead or to retrieve items from a top shelf.
Work- site conditions: The work is performed inside an office environment, with periodic travel to farm fields.
Unusual Working Conditions: Must be able to work occasionally on evenings, weekends, holidays, 6-day workweeks, and back-to-back shifts when needed.
Travel: Periodic travel (30%+/-) will be required between our operations across multiple states.
